Keron Depeazer, a 23-year-old mechanic of Lot 136 Ogle Street, Triumph, East Coast Demerara, was arrested on 2023-07-23 and charged on Tuesday with armed robbery and escaping from lawful custody.
According to the police, he is accused of carrying out the armed attack on Sheldon Budhai on 2023-07-21.
The accused appeared on Tuesday at the Sparendaam Magistrate’s Court #1 before Magistrate Rochelle Liverpool, where the charges were read to him and he pleaded not guilty.
He was remanded to prison.
