Despite the opening day being washed out, Guyana defeated Trinidad and Tobago by five wickets on day three of their second-round clash in the Cricket West Indies Under-19 three-day tournament.
After Trinidad surprisingly declared on 95 for six in their first innings, Guyana converted their overnight score of 150 for four to 179 all out in 60 overs. Trinidad were then bundled out for 155 in 66.3 overs, setting Guyana 75 to win in which they reached in 13.4 overs but lost five wickets.
