An early morning joint services operation was conducted at the New Amsterdam Prison where a number of prohibited items were seized.
According to a statement from the police the following items were found:
9 cellphones
1 GT&T SIM card
Quantity of Cigarettes
11 lighters
1 smoking utensil
9 improvised weapons
1 scissors
4 metal spoons
1 bucket of fermented wine
4 bottles of wine.
282 grams of narcotics.
