A deep agenda of societal reconstruction in this film

Dear Editor,

After much clamour, I finally decided to take my girlfriend to see the hit movie, Barbie. I paid for the tickets, drove her to and home, bought food, everything, being the “man” in our relationship. Barbie is everything wrong in western society, as a matter of fact it is an indicator of ‘man’kind’s (no pun intended) societal decay. This movie is “woke” garbage and our daughters should not be fed this poison. Why the war on men? Basically, all men are dogs, sorry I meant Kens, everything we do is toxic masculinity and the patriarchy is an extremist group. Here you have a movie that is further ingraining the feminism, and independence and ‘don’t need a man’ culture in the minds of females leading to this competition and hatred towards males, and by extension fathers, husbands and brothers.

What rights and privileges in 2023, do us men have that a woman can’t get? Men and women are not the same, yes there are some jobs that men can do, because by nature we are physically stronger, a woman can do it, but it will obviously be harder. Ken is made to look like an absolute idiot, because he is essentially a biological male in a Barbie world, unless he identifies as transgender, which is a whole other debate. Then the movie goes off about men in leadership positions, whether by board members, judges, politicians along those lines (shades of Clarence Thomas) and there is a disdain that men shouldn’t have those leadership positions, and women should abandon their traditional roles as mothers to pursue their careers.

Also, spoiler alert, when Ken goes out into real world and sees the respect and importance of men in the real world, men focusing on being physically strong, driving trucks and tries to implement some of those habits in Barbie land by amending the constitution giving men rights to vote, the Barbies’ try to make the Kens jealous by loving up other Kens, how toxic? On a flip side, Ken lives in a matriarchal world but he didn’t complain about the wage gap, protest masculinism through the media or start an only fans account, he just went about his business without complaining and fought for equality, psyche! What a Ken (con) job! But in the end, he became miserable and went back to the way things were! (hmmm, interesting?)

If this movie was flipped, imagine the uproar, war and chaos that would’ve erupted across the world. I don’t blame Margot Robbie for anything, she’s raking in a ton of money, and she is a super sexy lady so I don’t blame Ryan Gosling either. Brilliant marketing campaign by the Barbie brand, they went woke but didn’t go broke. On a serious note, there is a deep evil and an agenda of societal reconstruction in this film that should be rejected outright that is meant to destabilize the world order and destroy the nuclear family by first destroying men. Messi in an Inter Miami kit is what men should be idolizing and women should be idolizing Barbie. Men and women are not the same, we need each other.

Sincerely,

Kendell Karan
