In light of Guyana’s rapid economic growth, the British Virgin Islands (BVI) has embarked on a trade mission, which is geared at strengthening ties between the BVI & Guyana.
Chief Executive Officer of British Virgin Islands Finance, Elise Donovan yesterday related to Stabroek News that the trade mission represents the shared dedication to regional cooperation and economic development.
A 17-member delegation led by Deputy Premier of BVI and Minister for Financial Services, Labour and Trade, Lorna Smith is currently in Guyana. According to Donovan, the trade mission is expected to cover an array of sectors such as agriculture, finance, and business.
