Thirty-two-year-old Deneve Ramzan of Kumaka Water Front, North West District, appeared at the Mabaruma Magistrate’s Court yesterday before Magistrate Sunil Scarce to answer to the charge of possession of narcotics for the purpose of trafficking.
The particulars of the charge stated that on Saturday 4th August, at Kumaka Water Front, North West District, the defendant had in her possession a narcotic that is to say 382 grams of cannabis and 20 grams of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking.
Ramzan was represented by attorney at law, Bernard DaSilva.
Bail was refused and the defendant was remanded to prison until 24th September for statements.
