“We think that we can also collaborate, with the empathy that we have made from the Government. Since I met President Irfaan Ali I was able to demonstrate and I could see in him enormous leadership, not only for Guyana, but for the entire region, with leadership in CARICOM, and we empathized and were able to determine how both countries could complement each other”.
This is a statement made by Dominican Republic President, Luis Abinader, during a meeting with President Irfaan Ali and his delegation of officials while on an official visit to the Dominican Republic (DR) earlier this week. During the visit, the two Heads of State held discussions that were centred on the way forward for the fostering of enhanced cooperation and collaboration between the two countries.
