Jermaine Williams called ‘Cash Money’, a 45-year-old construction worker of Lot 331 Richmond Housing Scheme, Essequibo Coast, was on Thursday remanded over the possession of 56.6 grams of cocaine for trafficking.
The police say that he was arrested on 6th March 2023 at Onderneeming Public Road, Essequibo Coast. The defendant appeared on Thursday at the Suddie Magistrate’s Court before Magistrate Esther Sam, where the charge was read to him. He pleaded not guilty to the charge. The prosecutor objected to bail being granted, and the defendant was remanded to prison.
The case was adjourned to 1st September 2023.
