Georgetown Police Commander, Simon Mc Bean yesterday told Stabroek News that the suspect in the shooting in Sophia that left four persons nursing gunshot wounds is yet to be arrested.
The shooting incident occurred at around 9.30 on Tuesday night at ‘B’ Field Sophia access road. The suspect reportedly walked up and indiscriminately fired a gun into a crowd causing everyone to scatter and run for cover. Mc Bean told Stabroek News that investigators do have a description of the suspect, who was at the time wearing a grey hoodie, red and black pants, about 6 feet in height and dark in complexion.
