Dear Editor,
I do wonder if the time has not come for SN to mollify its reporting on the frequent murders all over Guyana. Respectfully, news is news but with the frequency of murders for the slightest disagreement seems to be a daily occurrence in some part of Guyana. Why not have a column, for example, IN OTHER NEWS and give snippets of murders, accidents and other damaging news, as against the current style of making such news Headlines? Mollifying the disturbing news would seem to be better, but from my experience, those blazing headlines result in more sales of the newspaper!! But I will yield and say not more than 2 each week!
