The Guyana national men and women’s volleyball teams departed local shores yesterday to compete in the Volleyball International Cup in Roraima, Brazil.
The female team comprises Alianna Charles, Ashley Henry, Irie Cadogan, Shamari Cyrus, Iambie Cave, Hannah Hicks, Shania Thomas, and Daniela Silva while the male team includes Kemraj Singh, Quacy Matheson, Ian Bagot, Trevon McRae, Corwyn Richards, Kirby Richards, Stephon Norah, Omari Joseph, Klondyke Rodney, Geno Carroll, and Stephan Veerapen.
Rodney Fredericks is the head-coach and Michael Adolph the assistant coach. The respective squads will be in action from tomorrow, as well as on Saturday and Sunday.
