One week after an 18-year-old youth from Leopold Street, Werk-en-Rust, Georgetown was stabbed to death while trying to make peace in a fight, the man suspected of carrying out the murder is still on the run.
Noel Fraser of 101 Leopold Street was murdered last Saturday while trying to be a peacemaker.
It was reported that Fraser was at home at about 7:45 am when he heard a commotion nearby. Upon checking, he saw it was a fight involving several individuals he knew. As such he left his house with the intention of bringing a measure of calm to the situation, unfortunately however, he ended up being stabbed. After receiving the injury Fraser ran into an adjoining yard and collapsed.
