The Guyana U17 cricket team will have another go at winning an aspect of the Cricket West Indies Rising Stars U17 cricket competition when the two-day competition gets underway today in Trinidad and Tobago.
Consistent rainfall hampered the one-day version of the tournament which was won by Barbados after the fifth and final round on matches were washed out on Sunday.
Barbados ended the limited overs competition with 16.2 points ahead of Trinidad and Tobago with 16 points. They were followed by Jamaica (11.6 points), Guyana (10.4 points), Windward Islands (7.6 points) and Leeward Islands (6.2 points).
