Commander Regional Police Division #9, Raphael Rose conducted an outreach at the Marudi Mining Area in South Rupununi on Thursday where he met with miners.
During the outreach, a police press release said that Rose discussed the security posture related to the proposal for a Police outpost to be constructed at the Bush Mouth (accessing the Marudi mining area), and to monitor the influx of Brazilians and Venezuelans in the Region. (Police photo)
