Traditional giant Pouderoyen rebounded from their previous loss in the West Demerara Football Association Senior Men’s League, quelling newcomer Uprising by an 8-0 scoreline yesterday at the Tuschen ground.
Any hopes of a competitive encounter between the sides were quickly extinguished, as Pouderoyen stormed to a 4-0 lead at the end of the first half. Recent recruit Jaret Williams made his presence felt with a third-minute conversion before Chidune Matthew converted from the penalty mark in the 13th minute to make it 2-0.
