It seems to be more of the same at M&CC even with a new council, with some old faces in the mix, installed. Now it seems the council is going after a company to recoup millions of dollars for parts provided which did not ‘meet the specifications of the council’ (SN August 29). When was this realized? Surely not since the installation of the new horseshoe members. Just what was the last council presiding over? The former deputy now chief citizen should provide answers.
It is also observed a councilor, who recently crossed the floor, is calling for the facing of ‘consequences for incompetence’ (GC August 29) of the former mayor. This caller, with institutional knowledge, and once sitting on the same side before crossing the floor, should provide explanations on parts which did not ‘meet the specifications of council’ episode and the move now to recoup millions of dollars.
