(Trinidad Guardian) The owner of a scrap iron business in Claxton Bay was executed in a hail of bullets in his vehicle near his home on Wednesday.
Reports say scrap iron dealer Trevaughn Mitchell, 38, was leaving his home for work in his Mazda vehicle at La Sophie Trace, Claxton Bay, around 6.30 am, when he was ambushed by three assailants. Investigators say more than 35 bullets were fired at Mitchell and his vehicle. He died on the scene.
He was the father of four children. Officers of the Homicide Bureau of Investigations Region 3 are probing the murder.
