Dear Editor,
The President’s Press Conference was delivered in measured tones except on a few occasions when dealing with the sugar industry. No lengthy, exhaustive opening statement and the questions and answers segment was coordinated and well executed with the moderator staying firm.
The substantive appointments of the Chancellor and Chief Justice was a major talking point with one reporter in particular insistent with questions.
All in all it made good company for my first cup of the day.
Yours faithfully,
Shamshun Mohamed
