Twenty-one-year-old Ezekiel Deane, a technician of Lot 59 Princes Street, Lodge, Georgetown, appeared on Friday, at the Georgetown Magistrates Court, before Senior Magistrate Leron Daly where he was charged with simple larceny.
It is alleged that on September 5, at the Marriott Hotel in Kingston, Deane stole US$740 belonging to Avalon Kerry.
He was placed on $50,000 bail.
He is scheduled to make his next court appearance on 20th October for statements.
