Shawn Bobb (address not stated) appeared at the Georgetown Magistrates Court on September 8 before Senior Magistrate Leron Daly where he was charged with robbery.
It is alleged that on Wednesday, September 06, at Light Street, Georgetown, Bobb robbed Hosel Gomes of one Samsung Galaxy phone valued $50,000 and $5,000 cash which he had in his possession.
The prosecutor objected to bail on the grounds that the defendant had served a two-year sentence for wounding.
Bail was refused.
The matter has been adjourned to October 27.
