Navin Ali, 29 (address not stated), appeared last week at the Georgetown Magistrates Court before Senior Magistrate Leron Daly where he was charged with simple larceny.
Ali pleaded guilty to the charge.
It is alleged that on August 26, at Lot 1883 Blue Mountain Street, Festival City, Georgetown, Ali broke and entered the dwelling apartment of Raul Simon and stole a 42-inch Samsung television.
Following his guilty plea, he was sentenced to three years’ imprisonment.
