Deneve Ramzan, 32, of Kumaka WaterFront, North West District, appeared at the Mabaruma Magistrate’s Court to answer to the charge of possession of narcotics for the purpose of trafficking.
It was alleged that on August 4, at Kumaka WaterFront, North West District, Ramzan had in her possession, 382 grammes of cannabis for the purpose of trafficking.
It was also alleged that on August 4, at the same location, she also had in her possession 20 grammes of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking. Following her not guilty plea, Ramzan was placed on $150,000 bail for the first charge and $100,000 bail for the second charge. She is scheduled to make her next court appearance on November 20.
