Twenty-nine-year-old Avinash Kumal appear-ed before Principal Magistrate Judy Latchman yesterday at the Diamond Magis-trate’s Court to answer to the charge of possession of narcotics for the purpose of trafficking.
It is alleged that on Friday, September 8, 2023, while at Second Street, Herstelling, he had in his possession 400 grammes of cannabis.
He pleaded not guilty to the charge and bail was refused. He was remanded to prison until October 31st.
