Beacons was crowned the Georgetown Football Association (GFA) Senior Men’s League champion, defeating Vengy 3-1 to take an unassailable lead atop the standings following a perfect 7-0 record.
Staged at the Georgetown Football Club ground on Sunday, the trio of Anthony Abrams, Tamiel Hutson, and Sunil Logan scored in the 28th, 49th, and 73rd minute respectively. On target in the loss was Jose Vasquez in the 33rd minute.
Due to the win, Beacons, who have one game remaining in the campaign, climbed onto a perfect 21 points to clinch the title.
