More than 1,000 traffic cases made in three days – police

Under public pressure over the steep rise in road deaths, the Guyana Police Force says its Traffic Department across all Regional Divisions, under the leadership of Senior Superintendent Mahendra Singh, made more than 1,000  cases during the last three days of enforcement exercises.

In a release yesterday, the police said that on Sunday, September 10th, 2023, 377 cases were made; on Monday, Sep-tember 11th, 2023, 358 cases were made and for Tuesday, September 12th, 2023, 315 cases were made.
