Minister of Health Dr. Frank Anthony yesterday met a team of nursing tutors and nurses who were selected from the various nursing schools and from the respective regions to attend a training programme in Ribeirão Preto, Sao Paulo, Brazil from 17 September to October 1 2023.
A release from the ministry said that the training is being sponsored by the Pan American Health Organisation (PAHO).
The training programme will involve hands-on training in labs, simulation centres, primary care settings at the Ribeiro Preto University Hospital.
Also present at the meeting were Chandroutie Persaud, Deputy Director of Health Science Education; Luis Codina PAHO Representative Nicola Nero, Head of the Nursing Council.
