Residents on Friday held a protest in front of the McGowan Primary School located in Liverpool Village, Corentyne over the state of the road leading to the facility.
They complained that the road which is under construction is damaging the shoes of the children, teachers and parents.
In response, Regional Executive Officer, Narindra Persaud has given the assurance that the road work will be completed by November 1 as stipulated in the contract.
