Thirty-six-year-old Odinga Spellen of Lot 4 Laing Avenue appeared before Magistrate Rhondel Weever at the Georgetown Magistrate’s Court yesterday charged with arson.
It is alleged that on June 17, 2023, at Lot 107 La Penitence, he unlawfully and maliciously set fire to a house as an act of revenge.
He pleaded not guilty to the charge and bail was refused. He was remanded to prison until October 2, 2023.
