Claude Ramjas, a 41-year-old labourer, of Lot 8 Coldingen, East Coast Demerara, and Vickram Doodnauth, a 30-year-old labourer of Lot 35 Non Pareil, East Coast Demerara, appeared yesterday at the Cove and John Magistrate’s Court where they were charged with break and enter and larceny.
Ramjas pleaded guilty and was sentenced to eighteen months’ imprisonment, while Doodnauth pleaded not guilty and was placed on $150,000 bail.
The case has been adjourned to 27th October, 2023.
