Police ranks who were conducting an exercise at Bamia Check Point at about 13:30 hrs on Monday, stopped a Route 72 motor bus (BAD 9554) with ten persons heading to Mahdia and arrested a man over suspected marijuana.
The ranks told the driver and the passengers to exit the bus with their belongings and they complied except for Selwyn Barker, a 28-year-old miner of Laing Avenue, George-town, who exited the bus without his belongings and ran to the eastern side of the highway, claiming that he wanted to urinate.
