The Guyana Boxing Association will to today host a simple presentation ceremony at the Mirage Banquet Hall Third and Albert Street, Alberttown.
The ceremony is to honour coaches and boxers who allowed Guyana to retain the Caribbean Schoolboys and juniors tournament for the fifth consecutive time.
At the Caribbean School Boys and juniors tournament Guyana’s Tiquan Sampson was adjudged the most outstanding junior boxer as Guyana lifted the Winfield Braithwaite trophy after ending with 11 gold medals, four silver medals and two bronze medals.
The GBA will also recognize AMBC Championship medalists Desmond Amsterdam and Keevin Allicock at the ceremony.
