Benn, Deputy Police Commissioner at China security conference

Minister of Home Affairs,  Robeson Benn and Deputy Police Commissioner ‘Operations’, Ravindradat Budhram are currently attending the 2023 Conference of the Global Public Security Cooperation Forum (Lianyungang) (GPSCFL), which began on September 19 in Lianyungang, East China’s Jiangsu Province.

A release from the Ministry of Home Affairs said that the forum, themed “One World, Common Security,” attracted more than 500 senior law enforcement officials, experts, and scholars from over 50 countries, regions, and international organisations.

It said that the GPSCFL is aimed at forging a network for cross-sector collaboration, building a mechanism for transnational, inter-departmental, and cross-industrial coordination, promoting partnerships for law enforcement capacity building and providing high-quality public goods and services for security.
