A meeting has been set for the revival of the Guyana/China Friendship Society.
An advertisement in yesterday’s Stabroek News said that the resuscitation and revival of the body will be held on Monday, October 23rd at 4 pm in Room #306, Third Floor, New Thriving Restaurant, Main Street.
The advertisement said that each person can nominate a candidate for each executive committee position. On-site nomination and instance secret balloting will be adopted in the elections. The deadline for registration for the meeting is October 13th, 2023 at email: guychn2023@gmail.com. Persons registering will receive a copy of the new proposed constitution.
