To commemorate World Pharmacists Day, the Guyana Pharmacists Association, on Monday hosted an award ceremony to honour long-serving pharmacists across Guyana for their time, dedication, contribution, and commitment, a release from the Ministry of Health said.
The ceremony was held at the Ministry of Health Boardroom, located at Brickdam Headquarters.
Among those who received awards for achieving a significant milestone in the profession were Marcia John,Yvonne Bullen, Michael Wade and Gyandat Marray.
Present at this ceremony were the President of the GPA, Kalawattie Datt-Singh; Executive member and Interim President, Kwame Waldron; and GPA Treasurer Akima Sandiford-Simmons.
