First Bauxite LLC which has bauxite mining operations at Bonasika has a new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at the helm.
In a release this week, the company announced that it has appointed Ralf Schoenfelder as its Chief Executive Officer (CEO) with immediate effect. This appointment, it stated, follows an extensive recruitment process led by Johnson Partners executive search firm.
First Bauxite Corporation is a Canada-based natural resources company engaged in the exploration and development of bauxite deposits in Guyana, through its mining subsidiary, Guyana Industrial Minerals (GINMIN)
The release informed that its new CEO brings a wealth of leadership and strategic experience to First Bauxite. “His industry knowledge and proven ability to drive results will be instrumental in steering the business at this pivotal point in its history.”
The newly-appointed CEO will succeed Calum Semple, interim CEO, who will remain on the Board of Directors. To ensure continuity and a successful transition, The two will work closely along with the Executive Team over the next couple of months. The Board of Directors expressed its gratitude to Semple for his significant contributions and leadership during his tenure.
In accepting his new role, Schoenfelder remarked, “I joined First Bauxite because I can see the great potential in the company.
