Defending champion Enterprise showed yesterday that they meant business with a 5-1 defeat of Colaaco when the 10th Courts Pee Wee Football Championship continued yesterday at the Ministry of Education ground, Carifesta Avenue.
Dontay Kowlessar netted a helmet trick in the first, second, seventh, and 33rd minutes, while Dalzell Fernandes scored in the 14th minute.
On target in the loss was Meshach Pantlitz in the fourth minute.
St. Pius, Redeemer and North Georgetown were also among the winning teams
St. Pius crushed Winfer Gardens 10-0. Aaron Vasconcellos tallied five goals in the 19th, 21st, 23rd, 27th, and 33rd minutes, while Octain Moore added a brace in the first and 13th minute. Supporting goals in the 11th, 17th, and 37th minutes were Ezekiel Lynch, Daniel Chesney, and Akeem Young.
In two keenly contested affairs Redeemer edged traditional contender St. Stephen’s 1-0. Jonathan Olivier netted in the 31st minute.
Likewise, North Georgetown defeated Tucville 1-0 via a Kaley Jack conversion in the 26th minute.
