Dear Editor,
It happened before, it is happening again. Each year, when Christmas is almost upon us and the power grid buckles allegedly from increased demand, comes the same platitudes: we will get it fixed; have patience and understanding amid finger pointing. And so we move from year to year. Now it is promised that increase to the grid will come by mid-December, in the height of the festive season. Different day….same story…same outcome. When will it be – different day….same story…different outcome?
