The Georgetown Cricket Association (GCA) has shortlisted 30 players from the Georgetown area to play two trial matches tomorrow at the Demerara Cricket Club (DCC) ground.
According to press release from the GCA, the matches will serve as criteria for selection of a final squad of possibly 14 players plus a coach and a manager for the upcoming Demerara Cricket Board (DCB) Inter Association T20 tournament.
Two coaches Quasen Nedd and Darien Best have also been identified.
Among the 30 listed are notable names such as Tevin Imlach, Joshua Persaud, Tagenarine Chanderpaul, Christopher Barnwell, Steven Sankar and Ronaldo Mohamed Ali.
National U-17 skipper Jonathan Van Lange has also been shortlisted along with youngsters Sachin Singh, Riyad Latif, Dwain Dick and Dave Mohabir.
