Shameer Juman, a 49-year-old labourer of 13th Avenue Diamond Housing Scheme, East Bank Demerara was yesterday jailed for two years for malicious damage to property.
The police yesterday said that the offence was committed against Egerton Baptiste, on 2023-10-08 at Diamond.
The accused appeared before Magistrate Sunil Scarce at the Diamond Magistrate’s Court, where the charge was read to him.
He pleaded guilty and was sentenced to two years imprisonment.
