Eighteen-year-old Tyrese Adolphus appeared yesterday before Magistrate Leron Daly at the Georgetown Magistrate’s Court where he was charged with robbery.
It is alleged that on October 12, while at the Kingston Seawall, Georgetown, and in the company of another individual, Adolphus robbed Marleen Murray of one haversack valued at $10,000, one Samsung cellular phone valued at $60,000, personal care items valued at $10,000, and $12,000 in cash, totalling $92,000.
He pleaded not guilty to the charge and was remanded to prison.
