Aubrey Rowe and Navin Meighbarran will start as favourites to win the Guyana Draughts Association `B’ Class tournament today.
Today’s competition is being sponsored by Trophy Stall Bourda Market and Elias Gentle Attorney-at-Law.

Today’s competition is the first of three successive tournaments to be run by the GDA with the following two being the A Class competition and the 100 Squares competition.
According to a press release from the GDA, top player Lyndon Heywood will not be allowed to participate in today’s competition as he has been promoted to the A division.
Registration starts at 10am and the registration fee is $500 dollars per person. All ‘B’ class players nationwide are invited to participate. The venue is the Guyana Football Club pavilion.
