Twenty-eight-year-old Ronaldo Johnson appeared before Magistrate Rhondel Weaver at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday charged with the offense of larceny. It is alleged that on October 1, 2023, while on Brickdam, Stabroek, he stole five chip stone chains valued at ten thousand dollars, five chip stone wristbands valued at five thousand dollars, five chip stone earrings valued at five thousand dollars, one Nokia cellphone valued at twenty-four thousand dollars, one book bag valued at two thousand four hundred dollars, and forty thousand dollars in cash, totaling eighty-six thousand five hundred dollars, the property of Angel Dornick. Weaver pleaded not guilty to the charge, and was refused bail. He was remanded to prison until November 8.
