The Georgetown Cricket Club’s men and women’s teams continued their dominance of the Guyana Hockey Board (GHB) first-division leagues which continued at the Providence National Stadium yesterday.

The Bounty GCC men had a close match against Saints men but held on to run out 2-1 winners. GCC started out with a bang and needed just two minutes to find the back of the net, Frederick Kush finishing off a sweeping team move to make it 1-0. After conceding though, Saints showed good composure and returned pressure in the midfield.

However they could not find an answer and halftime saw the score remaining at 1-0 in favor of GCC.
