Pacesetters, Plaisance Guardians, and University of Guyana (UG) Trojans recorded wins when the inaugural edition of the “One Guyana” Basketball Premier League continued on Saturday evening at the National Gymnasium, Mandela Avenue.
Pacesetters dismissed the Guyana Defence Force (GDF) 68-47. Randy Richardson top scored with 25 points, while Troy David assisted with 22 points. Adding 13 points was Nathan Saul. For the losers, Quincy Wright, Delon Fraser, and Mark Rose recorded 14, 13, and nine points, respectively.
Similarly, the Guardians crushed Caimans 83–34. Terrence Daniels and Nigel Bowen led the rout with 17 points each, while Delroy Critchlow, Enoch Matthews, and Kwame Fox supported with 16, 11, and 11 points, respectively.
