Mexico trade team on visit, visa waiver raised

Prime Minister Mark Phillips, who is performing the functions of President, met with a visiting Mexican trade delegation, led by the Mexican Ambassador to Guyana, Mauricio Vizcaíno Crespo yesterday afternoon at the Office of the Prime Minister on Camp Street.

During the meeting,  Phillips outlined the Government’s vision for Guyana, emphasising the diversification of traditional sectors on the foundation of an economy supported by the resources from oil and gas,  a release from the Office of the Prime Minister said.

The Prime Minister  reiterated Guyana’s willingness to collaborate with investors across numerous areas of development, including through education and infrastructure.
