The National Insurance Scheme (NIS) yesterday said it is currently hosting visiting Actuary, Derek Osbourne who is in Guyana to work on the 10th Actuarial Review of the Scheme.
A statement from the NIS said that Osbourne has conducted three previous reviews for the NIS and will be in Guyana for one week.
Yesterday, he met with Senior Minister, Office of the President with Responsibility for Finance, Dr Ashni Singh and later met with the NIS Board of Directors.
The Actuary is also expected to meet other stakeholders.
