Collis Goodluck, a 21-year-old of Charity Housing Scheme, Essequibo Coast, who was charged with the offence of escaping from lawful custody on Saturday, January 21, 2023, at Charity Police Station, was on Monday charged and sentenced to 12 months imprisonment for the offence.
The police say that the defendant appeared virtually from prison at the Charity Magistrate’s Court before Magistrate Esther Sam, who read the charge and subsequently sentenced him.
