Tevin Imlach produced a mature batting performance for the Guyana Harpy Eagles in the CG United Regional Super50 match yesterday but his remarkable feat of scoring almost half of the team’s score was undone by the fickle Trinidad weather.
Persistent rain during the Combined Campuses and Colleges (CCC) innings led to a no-result.
Yesterday, at the Sir Frank Worrell Memorial Ground, CCC won the toss and opted to bowl. Despite Imlach’s outstanding effort, the innings was cut short at 177 all out in 48.1 overs. CCC were 86 for five after 15 overs when the rain ensured that no more play was possible. This is the third no result of the competition so far.
