The Berbice Bridge Company Inc (BBCI) says that it will be conducting emergency repair works on the span of the Berbice River Bridge that was impacted by a barge loaded with sand on October 13, 2023. Due to these repairs, a release from the company said that travellers can expect slight delays when crossing the Berbice River Bridge.
These measures are essential to ensure the safety of all users, the company added.
