Minister of Housing & Water, Collin Croal and Chief Executive Officer of the Central Housing and Planning Authority (CH&PA), Sherwyn Greaves, joined Prime Minister Mark Phillips for a meeting with the High-Level Delegation of New York State Officials.
The meeting was held at the Office of the Prime Minister this morning, a release from the CHPA said. The delegation gleaned insights into the national housing programme and transformative projects. The visiting team, in Guyana from October 25-30, 2023, is led by Senator Roxanne J. Persaud, Chair of Social Services, and Assemblywoman Alicia Hyndman, Chair of the Committee of Standing Committees. Persaud is Guyanese.
Also at the meeting were: Dr. Frank Anthony, the Minister of Health; Priya Manickchand, the Minister of Education; Kwame McCoy, the Minister within the Office of the Prime Minister; Robert Persaud, the Foreign Secretary; and Germene Stewart, the Chief Development Planner at CH&PA.
